Legal Education

Legal Literacy Cell

The Legal Literacy Cell at OPS International School is dedicated to raising awareness about legal rights, duties, and the justice system among students. Our objective is to empower the younger generation with legal knowledge, fostering responsible citizenship and respect for the rule of law.

Key Objectives

  • To educate students about their fundamental rights and duties as enshrined in the Constitution of India.
  • To create awareness about social-legal issues, child rights, and environmental protection laws.
  • To organize seminars, discussions, and mock courts (moot courts) to explain legal processes in an engaging manner.
  • To develop critical thinking and legal reasoning skills among senior students.

Activities and Awareness Programs

The cell conducts regular workshops on topics such as cyber safety and security, child protection laws (POCSO), road safety regulations, and environmental ethics. Guest lectures by legal professionals, interactive quiz sessions, and debate competitions are organized to actively involve students in learning about the legal framework of the country.
